Caring for Your Board

1. Every couple of weeks check the bolts on your trucks and wheels. Tighten if needed. Don’t overtighten just make sure things aren’t loose

2. Follow the Novus 3-step regimen to keep your board clean and in great condition

How to use Novus:
Step 1: For general cleaning apply #1 liberally to a microfiber towel and wipe down the board
Step 2: For light scratches apply dime sized amount of #2 directly to a buffing pad (either Step 3: For heavy scratches apply dime sized amount of #3 directly to a buffing pad (either hand or powered), work back and forth across the board evenly. Wipe clean. Then, apply dime sized amount of #2 directly to a buffing pad (either hand or powered), work back and forth across the board evenly. Finally, wipe and clean with #1.

3. Invest in a bumper to protect from curbs and other solid objects.  All boards (wood or acrylic will chip or scratch when slammed into a curb), so protecting the front (all wheel cut and pintail boards) and front/back (all platypus boards) is a cheap but effective solution to keep your board looking great

4. Store your board in a safe place when not in use, a board rack is a great option. It will keep your board from getting runover accidentally or someone tripping and falling over it
